Well I am a bit late posting the Christmas lights in Malaga this year. Infact they should have been posted last year shouldn´t they!
No excuses…..Anyway, here they are and once again what a fantastic show.
There has been some controversial debate about the neccessity of such extravagance in these times of recession, but going to view the lights and wonder around the streets of Malaga certainly lifts your spirits. Its a real delight.
On the night of the 5th of January I was also in Malaga for the Cabalgata which I would call the night of the 3 kings. My Mum who is nearly 85 was with me and a neighbour and her 3 year old. There were thousands and thousands of people but we felt so safe and not one bit threatened by the masses. It was a brilliant night, added to by the super fresh tapas that we had in a bar opposite the old market place. No photos though sorry…
