Switzerland

I had a brilliant week in Switzerland. I was the guest of my friend Monica and we had just such a good week.

Lots of walking in the high mountains. Eating fondue and raclette using cheese made from the milk of the very cows you see here.

We had a wonderful day at a spa….it was all wonderful. Thank you Monica.

I flew up to Valencia where I was met by Paul who swept me away on his motorbike for a whistle stop tour around Valencia before going back to meet up with my old friends Gill and Lesley in Jesus Pobre.

My nephew and sister-in-law Julie visited in the summer. It was great to see them. I actually got to the beach with them and it was the only time I managed to get on the kayak all summer. What a wind up that was strapping the thing on the roof of my new car……aaaagghhh!
