Masmullar walk

I had a great walk today from Comares up to the “mesa” of Masmullar. We saw 3 different types of orchid including this yellow ophrys.

I always think there is a weird atmosphere on the plain at Masmullar, all the massive piles of rock seem to create a strange atmosphere.

Life at Casa Granadina

Everything so beautiful here today. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Bees buzzing amongst the freesias and wall flowers. The geckos are coming out in the sun and the broad beans are podding nicely! Yeestarday I heard my first cuckoo of the year and there was about 20 egrets in the river…. Now I am going to make a cake.
